Daddy Daughter Dance
Our school had a daddy daughter spring fling. It was really cute to watch these dads with their daughters all dressed up. I was taking the pictures the whole time, but the girls and their dads were dancing the whole time and were having much fun. The PTO had games and stuff planned thinking they might need them for entertainment, but they were totally entertained with the dancing. The last song, Butterfly Kisses, was definitely a tear jerker!
Easter {2010}
Egg Hunt at our house Sunday morning [ Macey and Emmy were too quick to get pictures of them]....
Then we had a lunch and the usual Easter eggs hunts at my mom's house. The adults had their hunt and Toby came out the winner of the most moulah and Jared just got candy. It was fun for all [I think].

Easter Eve
Today was another great day (thanks to DVR). Last minute we were given 2 tickets to the Diamondbacks exhibition game and my parents had tickets as well so Tate and I joined them. It was the perfect afternoon for a baseball game with the roof open. The downside was that we lost:(
And what's a game without some nachos with jalapenos(not nearly enough cheese or jalapenos)?!?!?! I refrained from the usual cotton candy:(
Then it was time to color the eggs! This was Claire's method and the rest dyed them.
Happy Easter!
Good Friday- For Sure
No school+nothing to do+chores go quickly and smoothly=a fun stress free day!
The girls have been chomping at the bit to go to Build-a-Bear to use a gift certificate they had so that is where we headed first and then we hit the playground and then topped it of with some happy hour slushes from Sonic!
OK the kids seriously look like the Adams Family here-bad timing:)
Thenwe invited ourselves the oppurtinity arose to hit the drive-ins and we jumped on it! It was perfect because I really wanted to take the kids to "How to Train a Dragon" and Macey has been begging to see the Percy Jackson movie since she just finished the book and it just so happened that they were together on the same screen! So fun! A family of 6+2 movies for $15= awesome deal!

Tate has been walking around wearing Scott's hats for the past 2 days. Whenever he is wearing the hat he is "Scott". He is even walking around with a play phone in his pocket to portray his dad as accruately as possible and that would not be complete without the phone. He likes the Suns one that Claire has on in the picture but he had just come in the office and switched them because the "Suns one is for playing basketball and the other one is for work". When he wanted to switch them I said well I need a hug first and as he was grudgingly giving me a hug he said "Scott doesn't give hugs". So perceptive.
We asked him if he wanted a smaller hat that fit him and he said no he likes dads.
Pre-Easter Egg Hunts
This year I turned the Easter Egg Hunt over to the ward since it was basically involving the whole ward anyways and they were wanting to do it. It was bittersweet. It really was a low stress event to do since I kept it short and simple and it was always a potluck breakfast although, I am sure, Scott would beg to differ, but I still enjoyed doing it.
It was quite the effort to get this picture of the girls because they were fighting about Macey putting her arm on Emmy. Emmy didn't like it. Notice Macey's arm in the picture.
Later in the day the we headed to another Easter egg hunt hosted by Aunt Shelley. She put way more effort into hers than I ever did and the kids enjoyed it. There was 3 legged racing, sack racing, bike parade with awards, cupcake walk and snacks of course.
More egg hunts to come since it's not even officially Easter weekend yet.
