Did you see the last sentence? It had me rolling. Scott has promised the kids if they can keep their room clean for a month they can have a dog and they have actually been doing pretty good at it-it's so nice not to have to say "go clean your room". By the way Macey wants her own dog not to share either.

Phillips Christmas Party
{Annual Phillips Family Christmas Party}
- Soup and bread bowls
- Adult gift exchange-white elephant style
- Kids decorate gingerbread houses
- Then a special visitor
Lots O' Pics, but it will work when I make the blog book so oh well.
My grandpa (dad's dad) who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and stays with my parents for his treatments over the weekends.
Scott's usual...
The kids had these sticky santas and snowmen in their goodies from Santa. It was the most hilarious thing to watch the kids throw these at the wall and race them. Then they thru them on the ceiling and they hung there for a long time in the funniest positions-we all laughed for a while at them as you can see. Then there are some pictures of my brother trying to retreive some from the ceiling becuase they were not coming off of the flat paint and all they did was stretch realy far or the feet or hands flattened out and stuck more-seriously I am laughing just remembering.
I have no idea why the videos is sideways here. You probably won't think it's funny without being there anyways.
Macey's Band Concert
This is Macey's first year in band where she is playing the flute. They had a concert where Macey also said she had a solo, but I thought it was just a little thing in the middle of a song or a group of kids or something, but it was just her playing a song in front of everyone. She doesn't even seem to get nervous and loves to perform and be the center of attention. She wants to try out and do everything that comes her way. Here is her solo for your listening pleasure.
A Christmasy Saturday
December 4th was a busy Saturday filled with Christmas parties and activities.
First off was pictures with Santa and Mrs. Clause. These are professionals and they look so real! They did a great job and are so nice for doing this for the school. They even came around to all of the classes on the last full day before winter break-so nice of them.
Then I took a little "rest" while Scott took the kids to the neighborhood Christmas party where Santa also made an appearance. During my "rest" I made a pie for the ward party later and cleaned up a little.
Next up was the ward party where Santa also made an appearance and was mauled by the huge group of kids that were waiting for him to arrive.
Tate talking to his friend Patrick about the candy canes they got from Santa...
Then we rushed from that party to Scott's "championship" soccer game between his Friday soccer champs and the Saturday champs. The kids ran around while I
My Scout
As of right now I have one Scout, Scott. He and a couple of other Scout leaders from our ward were invited to a dinner where they received awards. Scott and Sean both got the spark plug award to which they said-whatever that is. Scott loves scouts and will do it the rest of his life if he can!
Thanksgiving Break {2010}
We did the {usual} Thanksgiving of 2 dinners, one at the Williamsons and one at the Phillips and it was all yummy!
Later that weekend we went to see Tangled which was fabulous! It is a busy weekend for the movies so we had to wait a while for it to start so we walked around the mall for a while. The older girls were with me and played in the AZ snow, also known as bubbles, falling from the roof top of a store.
