On vacation and loving the weather-be ready for a picture montage at the end but I wanted to note my feelings and experiences from yesterday (and probably all along the way).
First of all it's a shame that pioneer days is not celebrated church wide because ultimately they are all of our ancestors. The ward we were visiting here in Utah had wonderful speakers-including two awesome youth speakers- and an extraordinary musical number, the choir sang come come ye saints. It was absolutely amazing what this choir director did with a choir of 11-outstanding. The spirit was so strong. I am sure there was some exhaustion mixed in there as well as silence-it was amazing- I have forgotten what that was like-silence and being able to actually listen and not be distracted(seriously you should visit our ward if you don't believe me). The kids did not even disrupt or distract-I suppose the magic trick is having cousins at church with us).
Like I said, I just wanted to jot some stuff down as it happened-mostly for my benefit so be prepared for boring picture free posts along the way. My appreciation for the pioneers grew yesterday-I am extra glad that I was not a mother and wife in the times of the restoration of the gospel-I don't think I could've done it. Simply amazing.

{1st} kid to get stitches
ding ding ding!
Macey's the winner
It was bound to happen sometime and luckily it happened with about an hour to spare before the Dr.'s office closed. Phew!
The kids were swimming and apparently
(no eye witnesses-hahahaha)
Emmy was using one of those plastic squirters and shooting it across the pool "like a rocket" and Macey just popped up and it hit her eyebrow and then continued to scratch across her temple and scalp.

She was a trooper, but she was pretty freaked out.
It warranted a milkshake from Jack in the Box afterwards.
{chocolate}for her,
{raspberry} for me,
& {oreo} for my mom.
[because she could tell I would need assistance:)]

4th of July {2010}
This picture pretty much sums up our {4th of July} weekend...
We are tuckered out!
Tate is sleeping in the new chair we had to buy at Wal Mart.... to sit and enjoy the fireworks in Globe {one of my favorite recently established traditions}.... on our way home from the cabin for the weekend then... swimming/Williamson family lunch today to observe the holiday-whew!
I {heart} America
I love the freedoms we enjoy and believe they are worth fighting for!
NO other pictures from the weekend...I spent most of it with my foot up or hobbling around since I smashed my foot just enjoying my family.
