The girls knew going into this meet that they would most likely not place as well as they have been because the teams that were there were "career" level 4 gymnasts, meaning they compete level 4 for years until they are basically getting 10's, where Emmy will only compete level 4 this one season and move on. So, Emmy did not place as well but her overall score continues to go up so she is definitely improving.

This next weekend (Oct 23rd) will be Emmy's last regular season meet before State (which she will be competing at) so if you are interested in attending let me know and I can give you the details. It is at her gym so it's local and state is in Deer Valley. She will also compete a couple of times in the spring I believe, but that is not part of their actual competing season so they don't count for anything, but growth and entertainment:).
