Milk Does A Body Good

I think they mean if you [drink] it!

Claire came to me one day looking like this. Just like nothing had happened. She kept licking the chocolate milk off of her face. Yummmmmm!

This video isn't very exciting but it shows the chair!

I don't even know where she got the chocolate milk from! She was obviously not drinking it!

* Ok I realize posting this probably makes people think my kids just run around unsupervised and making messes all over ( remember this? ) . But we just can't watch them every minute and those are the minutes they do these kinds of things. 2yr olds are very fast and naughty:)

Gotta get ready for church but more updates left including: Mall of America and Emmy's Big Day!!!

Finally figured out a way to get the pictures off my camera hence the massive amounts of posts all at once! It's good to be back!

Our Chickens

Chickens grow so fast! We had 6 and we inherited 3 more chickens that are already laying eggs so....6+3=9 chickens!!!! We pretty much get 3 eggs a day from the older chickens and once they are all laying we should be getting 9 eggs a day! I am going to need some more egg recipes!

The State Fair {2009}

We had a ditch day and took the kids to the fair! Who could resist free entry and $dollar day$? Well, obviously not us! I love the fair. There is something about the food, the rides, the exhibits {I just can't resist}. We really missed Scott being with us though because Scott is really good at taking the kids on rides and playing the games with them (and winning them things) because that is what he enjoys while I look around at all of the exhibits and eat:)

Since we have chickens now the kids were really interested in seeing all of the chickens at the fair. It is so amazing all of the different kinds there are! Here are some of them..

Tate {loved} this ride! He was laughing and giggling the whole time! He just truely loved it, but what boy wouldn't love a car ride that bounces and jiggles all over?

Claire was so good to sit in the stroller all day. She got to get out while we waited for the kids to come down the giant slide.

Halloween {2009}

Here are some (the only ones I got-lame I know) snapshots of Halloween....

I couldn't even tell you what the kids were for Halloween. It was a mixture of cats, witches, robots, Thomas the Train, fairies, etc. This is where my disdain for Halloween comes from. The kids have to get all dressed up at least 4 different times each year, if not more, and they change their mind of what they want to be every time so, I am coming up with/stressing over what they are going to be for every event. All we get out of it is a whole bunch of junk candy (some good stuff) that I have to worry about and ration (to a reasonable extent) until Easter (the next candy event) when I finally throw it away. Although I do enjoy the decorations and the weather cooling down, I'm glad it's over.

This was my poor baby when she was really really sick. All she did was sleep and throw up {EVERYTHING} for 4 days. She was getting really dehydrated and I was really close to taking her to the hospital, but thankfully we were able to avoid that! Just when we thought (probably more like hoped) she might be getting better she would throw up again. She is back to her normal self thank goodness!

{Sugar & Spice}

Emmy can be so {sweet}! Take this letter for example. I found it typed on the computer the other day when Tate was not feeling well...




Then there is the spice in her! This is a lovely card that she made me and Scott while she was in timeout in her room (funny thing is Scott wasn't even home).



OK I shouldn't have, but I could not help but laugh at her lovely card. The part at the end was really funny to me "if you be mean to your girl, boy or dog". Seriously that's funny.
